INTRO

THE UNSOPHISITCATES, named after the poem by Verlaine, is a STORM-BRINGER centric BSD fanbook set to release in summer 2024. Artists and writers will both be prioritized in the making of this fanbook; We're hoping for around 20 participants!The project was started by and is moderated by Vel (@blueshift-art on Tumblr) and their friend and business partner who is not active on social media, "W."We intend to compensate our applicants while also having enough revenue to go to charity donations selected by the team. If we cannot make enough profit to compensate fairly, all profits will be sent to charity, and participants will be allowed to sell their pieces as prints, self-published copies, and merch on their own sites.

Communications ModHi everyone, I'm Lyco! On my own time I am an illustrator, kaigai idol, and game developer, but for this project I am stepping in as a communications mod! I've worked on several previous fanzine projects and am excited to work with everyone on this one!

- This zine is Safe for Work (SFW) and all pitches and applications sent to this zine should also be SFW
- Canon-typical violence, blood and dark themes are permitted. Please keep within Bungou Stray Dogs’ official ratings. (16+)
- Please list any trigger or content warnings in your applications.
- Please do not use explicit or sexual samples in your application as we will be working with contributors under 18.- We will not be judging applicants by what they post on their social media or by their follower counts. Social Media is only asked for as a means of backup communication if emails should bounce. However, if you are known for distributing child sexually exploitative media, you will be blacklisted from the project.- The use of Generative AI (Chat GPT etc) is strictly not permitted and any applications using AI materials will not be considered.
- Use of Generative AI in the creation process will result in your removal from the project.
- The use and creation of NFTs or crypto with art is not permitted.- In compliance with GDPR and for ease of finance/shipping, the minimum contributor age for this project is sixteen (16).
- Applicants age 15 who will turn 16 BEFORE pre-orders may apply and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Please clearly state that you are 15.- Samples and pitches that contain shipping are allowed but please be flexible include a variety of solo and shipping pieces in your applications/pitches.- Group applications are welcomed!
- Please list your group applicants names in your application and your group pitches.
- Please ensure all members of a group application apply to the zine.- General zine rules of etiquette apply:
- Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Ableism and other acts of discrimination or judgement will not be tolerated.
- Plagiarism and use of works created by others will not be tolerated.
- Respect internal deadlines for check-ins and submissions. Inform Moderators if you require extensions.
